Seriously Savory Gluten-Free BACON CARMEL CANDY

Wow, bacon AND carmel together… I feel like Homer Simpson when he sees doughnuts.

This recipe by Elizabeth LaBau at & is not for the faint of heart.  This is a heavy, hearty, full of bacon fat & heavy cream deliciousness. So those that dare, enjoy!


1 cup heavy cream
5 tbsp bacon fat
1 tsp salt
1.5 cups granulated sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup water
Flaked sea salt or crumbled bacon, as toppings (optional)
