Whether it’s game-day, a family party, a BBQ or any other type of social gathering, if you live a gluten free lifestyle then most likely you will have to BYOGF (bring your own gluten free).  Here are a few of my favorite recipes and easy to buy snacks to make your BYOGF the best it can be.

FIGGIES & JAMMIES – I love fig newtons and Pamela’s gluten free version is better than the regular ones.  Filled with moist fig in the center, mmm tasty.

FRESCHETTA Gluten Free Pizza is a favorite of mine.  It bakes up crispy, available in cheese or pepperoni and is a large size pizza, plenty for everyone

Udi’s Gluten Free Pizza Crusts cook up crispy, they are big enough for two people and you can add all of your favorite ingredients for the perfect pizza.

Ingredients: WATER, TAPIOCA STARCH, BROWN RICE FLOUR, NON-GMO CANOLA OIL, EGG WHITES, EVAPORATED CANE SUGAR, TAPIOCA SYRUP, TAPIOCA MALTODEXTRIN, SALT, XANTHAN GUM, YEAST, CULTURED CORN SYRUP SOLIDS (NATURAL MOLD INHIBITOR), ENZYMES. CONTAINS EGG

 

 

 

Canyon Bakehouse Rosemary Focaccia is one of my favorite gluten free breads.  Bakes up crispy, delicious and I use it for both sandwiches and to make pizza bread.

Ingredients: Brown rice flour, water, white rice flour, tapioca flour, garbanzo bean flour, eggs, extra virgin olive oil, rosemary, sugar, xanthan gum, cultured corn starch, sea salt, yeast, apple cider vinegar, thyme, black pepper.

GLUTENBERG Gluten Free Beer has 4 varieties: Blonde, Red, India & American Pale Ale

GLUTENATOR Gluten Free Beer – has a nice lighter taste that goes down easy.  Its made with sorghum, millet, brown rice, sweet potatoes and molasses along with plenty of American hops.

Ground Breaker Brewing Company is one of my favorites but they are only available in the Pacific Northwest right now.  So. if you are there, lucky you and check out their many varieties today.

Hi, I’m Kirsten

Kirsten is a Registered Dietician in training and a Gluten Free Nutrition Consultant. She has a Bachelors of Science from Illinois State and is working on her second degree at Metropolitan State University in Denver, in the Nutrition & Dietetics program. After graduation, she will pursue certification towards becoming a Registered Dietitian.

Kirsten was diagnosed w/ Celiac disease in 2010, her goal is to provide a path for healthy living to individuals who are seeking a tailored made lifestyle specific to them and their needs.
