‘AMONG FRIENDS’ GLUTEN FREE BAKING MIX GIVEAWAY

Suzie_Lizann

Before my visit to Expo West I had never heard of 'Among Friends' Gluten Free Baking Mix, but I am glad that I have. These are of the two nicest, most energetic women I have ever met. They also have a serious verve for making tasty, healthy, certified gluten free, non-GMO baking mixes for those of us who want better options.

Among Friends, LLC, is the creation of two friends, Suzie Miller and Lizann Anderson who know firsthand about the perils of healthy cookies that taste like the cardboard they’re packaged in.

Their goal is simple: help people fill their kitchens with fresh-from-the-oven baked goods made from the best ingredients.

I used “Trish the dish Fruit Crisp Mix” for dessert to share at a large family gathering, where I was the only one eating gluten free. Everyone loved the apple crisp! It was great to serve a homemade treat I could enjoy along with the whole family.

I saw this company at expo west as well and you’re right, the ladies are so energetic, with a family of four can I have some of their energy. I like their story of why and how they started. We need more responsible companies such as these.

I am a single dad with a celiac child and I am not a person that can bake well at all. Mixes such as these are helpful and knowing they are a healthier snack version is a great piece of mind as well.

I have never heard of this company either, but after visiting their website I am excited to try. So many products out there are full of junk and do not want to feed my children that kind of stuff. They do not eat snacks often, but it is good to know that when they do, there are healthier alternatives out there.

Yeah, I am always looking for new and healthy baking mixes. Often I have to bake something for my child’s whole class to make sure she gets to enjoy as well. Mixes like these make it super easy.
